Smile Hubby's exemption through at last!

After many weeks of patiently waiting husband's cc rating exemption has finally come through. Not being quite sure what to expect, they have granted him an exemption to ride my bandit (exemption based on rego plate, so not a blanket permission to ride any ole bigger bikey!). He is still on his learners so it has to be reviewed again once his sits his restricted at the beginning of May. The aim of the exemption is that we're looking to buy a 650 Burgman (his dream bike) in a few months and this will entitle him to ride it before obtaining his full license.
I'd like to acknowledge insane1's assistance in us putting together the application; he was a great help with advice and allowing the use of his bike for photos etc. So a big to him, thanks mate!
Oh, btw, the exemption is in the form of a covering letter which must be carried at all times with license, and the remaining restrictions still remain in place (L plate, 70kph limit etc.) He and Ripper Roo92 can't wait to sit their R's and be done with them. (Will be nice for me too to be able to ride with them and not have to hold my girl back to keep pace with them! )

Crikey, it sounds like everyone will be riding the Bandit! You'll wake up and find only the GN left for you to take one day!

Aaaarrggghh my worst nightmare! Nah, he's actually pretty good. He's told me that even with the exemption he won't be stealing her off me. The coin flip won't be necessary Katman. Although, having said that he has asked to take her to work tomorrow.... Hmmm, might have to keep an eye on the situation. And Ripper Roo92 can only take the Bandit - in his dreams. No exemption for him!!!

And let me guess - Katman can take the Bandit if he hands over the Kat.

    Not quite yet Grasshopper.

I suggest you make photocopies of the letter, get them verified by JP, and carry copies of the letter, keeping the original safe. Being ordinary paper, they fall apart, and water helps speed this process up
