If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Camera view doesn;t tell the whole story. If you knew the road you'd know it isn't an issue.

    Oh, OK.

Only ever been up it once.

I'll do some laps next time I'm down.

all the dodgy bits re the centreline are going down the other side. there's a few corners on that side that you swear you can see through only for a vehicle coming the other way to pop out of "nowhere". Fortunately its not a lesson I've had to learn the hard way.

There's a lot of dodgy bits - I stay left on the blind right handers on the way up for good reason - trucks/buses tend to cross into your lane at some points.

Re "Softcock" vid, never feels like 5 mins to the summit does it, always feels like, "What, we're there already?!", and doesn't everyone indicate when over taking?, or is that just a nanna thing to do? And I wanna learn how to ride down the Featherston side that fast, I really do crawl down that side.... so sad!!!

Ah the Taka TT, my favourite part of the weekend, or Thursday night if I'm a good boy! I pop her into 2nd and go to my happy place. Never seem to get the Welly side sorted (up or down), but the Feathers side is sheer rider nirvana.

Funny, I'm the complete opposite!! Then again I think I just need more practice on the Feathers side, the more I do it the better I get at it and the more I'm starting to love it!!

Thats the key I think, I used to be the same way with a mental block about the feathers side, now I think i rush the Welly side and it all gets a bit stop/starty. The Feathers side is all about being smooth, avoiding the brakes where possible and using alot of the inside of your lane. Thats my 10 cents on the matter any hoo.
