I don't know of anyone who actually time-trials themselves around those roads.

Personally, I have no idea how long it takes, what with all the stopping at Coroglen and Coromandel and everywhere else for vast quantities of shit-talking, etc.
I am sure now the little seed has been sown in the minds of some that we will start to see posted times.

I am sure I can beat everyone myself to the slowest time... as I push the cruiser around the corners.

Perfectly reasonable question if you ask me. Ok, ok so no one asked. Well too bad. Interesting to see the raised hackles and personal slagging already started over an otherwise... perfectly reasonable question.

you mean we could time our ride around the loop? we could have a different classes - like - non-stop, 1 stop (@ coroglen), 2 stops (coroglen and pepper tree), 3 stops (tapu, pepper tree and coro) and so on...

could also include a 'stopped to pick up a fallen noob' class

What about having stages like rally cars.

    And classes like <250cc, 400cc, 590-700cc and then 700-1000+

It could be like NZ's version of the Isle of Mann.

Katman you fool, you have started something here!

Actually no. Double standards was a project overrun that occurred when the hippies were developing hypocrisy back in the 1970s. It was a technology that quickly gained foothold and have now spread to all walks of life.

It's an internet forum - it's what they were designed for.

As for people wanting to go fast. By all means do so - just stay on your own fucking side of the centreline thank you very much!
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Am I a spade? Or should I know the answer to that? Damn.

As far as double standards go, we all have them. For example, anyone that drives slower than us is a 'fucking slow c#nt who should be ordered off the road' and anyone who drives faster than you is a 'fucking idiot who should be ordered off the road'.

Now katman will hate me, but I do speed on the open road, right occassion and all that of course. Although my bike can almost do 200km/h in 2nd gear, I really ever see over 200 on the public roads, I can't be bothered. What I do like is going fast in the twisties, using the warp factor (tm) drive it has out of corners. I do also find that my bike has a problem with the front end remaining planted at times. It happens. So when I see a group, or even one, 'boy-racer' out in the same place as me having fun, I have no problem with it, heck as I pass them (this is quite often where the front end issue raises its ugly head) I smile to myself knowing they are enjoying themselves.

What I don't like is them speeding up and down Bealy Ave all night long. Just the same as I don't like executives in their 'sports' sedans speeding through town, or truck drivers, or heaven forbid, motoryclists.

Probably about the same as if you accidentally chopped your head off in a nasty shaving accident.............nothing
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

    Define Boyracer?

does that include 30s - 40s in their modified skyline,Evo, WRX, Honda Type Rs..

Such a bad over-generalised term which doesn't make sense.

If you're talking about the 10s-20s in their chopped spring Nissan Bluebird doing burnout.. they won't even be able to turn at normal speed. LOL

Degenerate? Would you like to reconsider the use of that word?
