    Best advice I've ever had

Bit of advice I got from my dad many years ago. Still valid today
"Son ride your bike as if everyone and everything is out to kill YOU".

For the guys that have been "around the block" a few times thats old hat but I just thought you guys n gals might like it

Is a very good bit of advice,as sadly sometimes it really does seem the case

My old man said to me once, as I cautiously rounded a city corner:
" Don't worry about what you're doing mate. It's the other cunts you have ter watch."

Best advice I ever got from mine was "Son, never buy anything with a handle on it..."
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

Quite right! The others are trying to do it unintentionally...

But it's a rule I've lived by for 35 years and so far, so good

Another good piece of advice is make sure you have clean undies/nickers in case they get you.

My dad said, 'I know theres nothing I can say or do to stop you, just look out for all the pricks trying to kill you like they tried to do to me when I used to ride bikes. (he was knocked off twice in 10 days, once by a drunk taxi driver pulling out of a side street and the other by a pregnant lady in labour driving herself to the hospital. he didnt ride another bike till I got one 20 odd years later)
