    Talking Wellington Bucket Racing - This Weekend!

    SCS 2008 Winter Bucket & Motard Racing Series
    Round One
    The Slipway, Brooklyn, Wellington
    Sunday 30 March


    Venue: Slipway Driving Facility, Long Valley, Brooklyn, Wellington

    Directions: Signposted from the end of Ashton Fitchett Dr, Brooklyn. Drive past the wind turbine, through the gate (looks like it's locked but it's not) and watch for gravel road on right.

    Time: Riders briefing is just before midday and we generally finish up around 4pm (ish).

    Come up for a look...bring ya gears and have a go.

    Maybe I could wrap myself in glad wrap or hire a colostomy bag (for under my leathers) and get a nose bag for any nauseous moments that would otherwise require stopping on the track.....

    You do have my genuine sympathy! I once ate about two dozen Bluff oysters in a sitting. There was one dodgy one in there somewhere amongst them. The bastard came back up, with reinforcements!! I was as crook as a dog for several days, and it was several years before I could manage to scoff oysters again.
