Out of the game for some time.

Coming out of work today I lowsided in gravel at low speed but fast enough to bend the front fairing in a way that I can't turn the handle bars far left. Also further damage to the transmission cover so I'm now leaking oil. So I've given up on that FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT YAMAHA for now. It can sit in the driveway under it's cover for however long it takes for me to bring it to roadworthyness. From January 15, I will be in my cage for transport and it's likely to stay that way for same time. I'll be bowing out of biking for some time. I just wish I hadn't made the fateful decision to give up a pristine Gn125 for a bomb .

    Just thought I'd share.

Give up biking? Not an option, just a breather until I can finance something else/fix this hunk.

Just get a new transmission cover, change the oil, strip off the fairing and ride it naked intill you can fix the fairing.

Did the fairing crack or did you just bend the mounts?
If so just get a big spanner and cresent and bend them back.

Anyway get off the computer and into the gargre!

Words of encouragement, too bad the bike is stuck at work. Can't ride it in it's current state. Don't even have a way to get it home.

    Know the feeling Magua.

After having my first bike for only a few months it got taken out by a cage. Now financials dicatate that it wont be replaced for sometime. Circumstances do change though and once more we'll both be bikers with bikes.
