Nelson KBer wanted to check out a bike

I've got myself interested in a Yamaha FS1 in Nelson. This is a 2 stroke 50cc old-style moped. It's currently a non-runner due to a bung carb of some description.

There's a photo of it in the thread, can't really tell the condition though.

I want to buy it, get it running and tidy it up, to have for getting about. Currently got a Suzuki scooter, but this would be way cooler!

I'm after someone who's keen to come and have a look at it with me to make sure it's not a lemon, but a genuine doer-upper. It's not that I don't trust the seller, but an impartial motorbike person would make me feel better about buying it. Bear in mind I haven't actually seen it yet, I'm gonna have a look this week if it suits the seller.
