Will take all the extras off and stuff like that and see how it changes.

EDIT. Knocked off all mods and dropped value on each bike by $1k. Quote stays the same.
EDIT 2. Took off convictions, price dropped by $500 to $3601

Realistically, with any insurance company, how much are any of you guys (young preferably) paying to insure 2 bikes?

I took off the fines, quote only dropped $500.

    This is like a murder.

I really only want protection from theft, if I crash (well then its my own damned fault) and if someone else takes me out then they get taken to the cleaners by my lawyer.

In the UK, TPFT is a shite load cheaper than Full comp, whearas here the differerence is tiny.

But don't forget that omitting relevant information (i.e., information they think relevant, even if you don't) in an application gives them an excuse to declare the policy null & void if you make a claim.

    $415 per year fully comp for a 2006 GSX750F
$312 per year fully comp for a 1998 Ducati 600ss

No mods, no convictions and I'm an old fart. Just thought I'd give you something to look forward to.

Id be better off putting $4k a year into a savings account as my own insurance policy... and every 3 years my own insurance would be able to buy me a new bike If i have an intact no-claims bonus.

    Nah 21.

If I put it in my old mans name and I crashed into a ferrari, I wouldnt be covered. Most policies only cover unnamed riders if they are over 25.

    Lol,

I'm only insuring one bike and it's near on 1 and a half grand.... I've only had one speeding ticket.

It's the age and your record that's getting you

Aren't you only after theft and fire ? What would it cost if old man was to get full cover and you listed as a named rider ? Check .
