    Zed's got a new head!

According to Two Wheels Only, British motorcycle magazine:-
"TO COMPETE AGAINST Yamaha's Fazer and boost suprisingly disappointing sales, Kawasaki has created a half-faired Z750. The basic bike is nearly identical to the current nekkid model, apart from the one-piece seat, pillion grab handles, an altered tail piece and that new front fairing. The bike gets new look clocks too. Expect the Z750S to cost around 400 British Pounds (approx NZD $1200) more than the naked Z750's 5490 British Pounds (approx NZD $1650) price tag.".

I wouldn't call that exactly "half faired". More of a glorified flyscreen.

Pity it doesn't look more like the 1000 - that'd boost sales..
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Still a very classy piece of kit that is really fun to ride.

At least they got rid of those dorky mirrors from the original.

Still don't see no half flairing?

It would be nice to have a front-on or oblique shot so that we could see what Mr K has done to the headlights. My jury is out on that new front fairing. No sign of any additional lugs for securing luggage.

[Edited]: Oblique shot now attached. Jury still out...

What's wrong with the mirrors? You were wanting round chrome ones, perhaps?

    mmmm

I think I like the original better than the new, half faired version.

I agree, except the mirrors are an improvement.

Nothing wrong with the shape, just the way they stick up so high in the air on the original.

The original's much nicer looking, but the needed to replace the 7RS as NO ONE was buying because they are souless and have a myriad of annoying problems and design faults, like a half fairing that makes a weird booming noise on some bikes but not others.

Oi reckon the new one looks like a Bindit. And it's fugly. But then, so are Bindits. I'd certainly rather have one of these Z750Ss than a B6, if we're talking half-faired versions only.

    Zed

Yup notice the the new Zed 750s with the screen is also a different blue from the 04 Zed, I like em both. The other 05 colours are Black and a Silvery colour.
