Jafar has been trying to talk into one of these for a while, and I have to admit taht if I can't afford a 675 Street Triple, I will give these a very serious consideration.

I'll be keen to learn what the differences are between the two though...

the fz1 is actually the fz1-n for naked, and the fz-1s is the faired version far as I know.

The "S" just stands for the half faired version. FZ1-N is the Naked one.

It's the same bike the only difference being the paint scheme.

I don't know if the price reduction of the FZ1-SV and FZ1-N is permanent or just a pre-winter promo but they have bought them back to $17,500, a reduction of $2K, this makes them a very attractive buy IMHO.
