Any chance you can write a few words on the sequence of the test from start to finish?, Im about to take mine in a couple of weeks. Would be interesting to hear, how long it took, where you rode, hazard spotting test etc..
Pretty much its done in 3 parts... they observe left turns & right turns at both give way signs & stop signs. U-turn is in there... 50kph riding... 70 & 80 is all I had whilst doing full (when I did my restricted however we went on the motorway @100)

the hazard part came 2nd after the U-turn bit... & the last part was open road riding...

Hope this kinda helps... Where are you doing your test? If at botany, say so & can let ya know the streets/area to practice on (esp U-turns as the roads out there are narrow)

Oh & it took approx an hour...

for the hazard spotting... if i didnt see anything when he asked... I tapped the top of my helmet... If I saw something... I nodded... was supposed to pull over everytime to say what the hazard was but didnt do that... he asked if it was 'just the bus I saw'... so i nodded...

So you learnt all this during the AWNR?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Ill be doing my test at Orewa where I did the restricted. Quite quiet up there and relatively good test route.
