I had a de-restricted 88 MC18 R2J that I took to the track a few times, such smooth power delivery compared to my old RG150 haha. Sold it earlier this year for ~1k after a small seize to be completely rebuilt to race again.

Not sure what power that bike made, but ~60hp with just a derestrict and re-jet to suit seems on the mark.

According to this dyno chart for the R5K anyhow. Pretty impresive increase
