    I've got wind!

No! Not that kind of wind!
Why do i get more wind noise riding my faired bandit than riding my mates un faired? At first i figured it was the air flow coming over the screen & rushing up from under my lid, so i tried ducking down below the screen but it made no difference. If i stand up on the pegs well above the screen- No noise? Whats that all about?
I started off with nothing! But still have most of it left!?

Sounds like your bandit screen is creating a lot of dirty air from your helmet down. I have a similer prob on my 750, it routes the air straight between the bottom of helmet and neck creating a howl. If I sit bolt upright it disappears. I wear earplugs, but one day will prob get a lower screen.

    Same on my 250.

Without earplugs it's pretty damn loud.

It may be because the fairing is directing the airflow, thus speeding up the velocity of it, thus making more noise. The fairing blade is being pushed through the air, forcing all the air in its path to go over the top of it, resulting in a concentrated stream of airflow.
The other thing is the height of it - if it was lower or higher, the airstream would be further away from your helmet and thus quieter.
The last thing is to check the airflow off/around the top of your jacket (by putting your hand there and moving it around): some collars make for a lot of turbulence around the base of your helmet. My Macna is fine, but my Teknic is very unaerodynamic.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Might try that jacket therory, My rjays is not exactly airodynamic, maybe the airflow is hitting at chest height and then pushing up?
