    Full Licence Today

    Just getting ready to go & sit my full licence test

    Looks like its about to downpour, but oh well....

    Didnt realise they stopped doing practical tests at the carbine rd vtnz, so am doing it out in howick at meadowbank. Will post up result...
    A bit nervous but know that I just have to ride like I usually do n it'll be all good.

    all ready to go now, bike outta the garage, just put warrant n rego on (was carrying them in my jacket cuz I hadnt put the new ones on yet)

    Got my gear on... having last ciggie then cruising out there.

    Just a mild drizzle at the mo, all good

    Give it heaps. The bar has been set with scraping pegs during a test. I wanna see wheelies/burnouts/stoppies as a bare minimum from now on.

    YAY..... I PASSED!!!

    Sure enough... just as we left the testing place, it started raining heavier lol...

    The testing guy was really nice & gave clear instructions/directions. Very straight forward.

    Had an earpiece in connected to RT in jacket pocket. Wasnt uncomfortable at all.

    Yay... Full Bike & Full car, no more yellow licence that I've had for 18months

    Was quite nervous at the start mainly because I dont love riding in the rain, if it rains 'oh well'... but I'd rather ride in good weather n not get home wet/damp etc but sometimes you dont get to choose, esp in auckland lol

    Bike is tucked in the garage now, back in work clothes, about to jump in the ute & head back to work (long lunch break )

    Meadowlands AA they are good (& even if I'd failed I would've still said that!!!!)

    Went thru the whitford/clevedon gorge when it was raining the heaviest tho He said I did great & it was a pleasure to watch me riding
