Well when ya think of what they are , a ZX14 engine etc,it makes sense just take the panniers off and walah you have a supersport basically eh!

Couldn't find the link to a guy's write-up of his track day, but here's a thread where some Connie owners show their chicken strips: http://www.concours.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=40692

PS: been off the edge of my rear - on both sides. Got chicken strips on the front and that's ok by me!

that first pic is good, I like the riders attitude, pointing his head at where he wants to go, the bike just follows his lead, as opposed to the rider behind who IMHO is working hard

Holy shit!!! those guys are crazy ,you read some of the speeds they take just to get rid of "chicken stripes" ..balls of steel

"I regularly (though not always) double+ (65-70 vs 30) posted advisory limits on corners, but haven't gotten past the same 3/8-1/2" strip barrier. "

you certainly would't wont to be riding like that with the panniers still attached !

Is that why you wont let me ride your bike?

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
