Yep after 3 wks of riding, I now have no bike!
All i can say is htanks to Big Dog and all the guys for the AWNR ride on the wednesday nights you have prob saved my life!

I was coming off at Ticoma stree off ramp on my way to work this morning 6:45am slowed down to my normal speed of around 50kph. there was a guy at the stop sign stopped not moving. I slow down a little more to make sure that he has seen me. still no movement! And then you guessed it he pulls out in front of me. to my credit i didn't lock any of the brakes up and manage to pull the bike you to around 25-30km before i hit him but i hit!
I go flying, bike skids down the road i land on my shoulder!

I am ok but my bike is a write off now the fun part of sorting out the insurance!

One of my work meat got hit in exactly the same place, that is why i was taking it so carful thought there.
Yeah bike will have to be replaced, wife works in insurance the only bikes that they repair are harleys

Dude, im glad you're OK! I often move right into the path of their eyesight and wait until they have actually made eye contact with me before I believe they are not going to just pull out and run me off the road - it has saved me many a time!!

• Do you think there was anything you could have done to avoid the accident and/or reduce its severity?
• Do you think he might have pulled out because you slowed down?
• If so, could you have slowed down but still made it clear you were expecting him to stay stopped? (Bazooka shot across the bows, perhaps?)

That's why you move right out to the edge of your lane WHILE BRAKING and looking at them. If they are about to start moving you can usually tell and then you brake.
Get air horns. I had them on my KR and they worked wonders!!
