Crash buttons, frame sliders, ozy knobs...

    Whatever you wanna call them.

Where do I find some for my zx7rr?

    -At a reasonable price.
    -In NZ.

    ...?

Hope anyone can help - because my friend google seems rather incompetent in this matter.

No shop you can walk into and get something that'll fit your bike?

Yeah, that was kinda what I was getting at in the thread title - seems to be no general consensus on what to call the buggers!

Anyway, while thunderbikes have a selection they haven't got any for my model. Hmmm, and so the search goes on

I've used these guys for years for most of my bikes and they're very good quality and pretty much industry standard over in Europe:

I know they're in the UK but I'm over there next month and would be happy to bring some back for you (I'm in Auckland) if you want.

    Cheap
    Locally made
Work well (I tested them )

They will likely be able to whip you up a set for the 7.

They also go by F1 Engineering I think

Phoned Thunderbike for ya.. since I'm a local & he did some research.. came back & said there are none in the country for a ZX7RR.. Oxford are waiting for some to come in, but at this stage have no idea of an arrival time....

So, looks like ya might have to a) import.. b) get some made.. or c) wait for an unspecified period of time..

Mikkel, PM SixPackBack on here, he's up with what materials should be used (some are very brittle etc) and might be able to make you some up.

I'll have a chat to SPB I think

Nah, a ZR7 is not going to cut it... It's a ZX7RR - 1996. I guess the whole frame slider idea hadn't caught on back then.
