    I'll say...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Mobil are real bad at doing this and we strike it a lot. Usually we drive on eg Warkworth where there is a Shell 100 metres up the street.

I feel they Mobil have a policy based on helping them deal with lack of service , young inexperienced staff and lack of staff on the forecourt.

We questioned them one day (Mobil Rangiriri) and they said that if they get busy at the till they turn the pumps to prepay.

The issue of loss of gas due to driveaways is easily solved. Put some staff on the forecourt and the gain for them would be better PR ,better service and better security.

Yeah I was stunned when I first saw this in daylight passing through Kaikohe, which was a mistake I know, but we needed gas. Real drag when you don't know how much you need.

The wife has a friend who used to work chasing up drive offs. The amount of people who did it for like $10 or less! stoopid. but then they started realising that they were all being video taped. So rego plate thefts went up. sigh.

We boycott Mobil where we can because of their prepay policy. Acouple of things to note about that particular notice

    - Good corporate design look don't you think?
    - Literacy also a good image boost for Mobil

Petrol drive-offs cost the oil companies less than shoplifting in the Warehouse. The last time you had to prepay at the Warehouse was when?

These petrol stations are making BILLIONS a year, and yet they can't seem to put prices down OR hire forecourt staff WTF?

A good little thing to do :

If it's obviously not busy and the obviously see you and yet still don't turn the pump on (It seems to happen lots) and expect you to pay first arggghhh, make sure you still have a few k's in the tank, put the petrol hose on the ground and then make your way to the next station .

The petrol retail businesses don't actually make that much margin on a gallon - what pisses me off is that the billions they make back upstream at the refineries, that's where they're hiding the rip-off.

ive never had to use prepay on the bike, they turn the pumps on for me and only me, once mag and I were filling up, they turned the pump on for me and mag had to go inside and ask! cos hes a dirty ginga with a horriable jacket
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
