    I could not get out of the airport carpark without asking someone... only to figure out that the town centre was 12km away!!

    So now im looking for people to come and ahave a beer with the legendary

    would you believe that I actually have with me my GPS unit? ...but, the only way I have of charging the smegger is still very securley atached to a bike that only days ago was stolen ...on the hunt for a charger down here.

    PS gas station open till midnight.. in Kaikoura 182 kms from CHCH then about 150 to picton......BP on Highway

    crap on a stick! I have just had to BUY a phone charger $44 to charge my flipping phone... used up both full batteries today!!! all the texts and calls!!

    ...now I am back in the internet cafe waiting for this dude... *sigh* he is very apologetic and just as peeved off as me.

    He reckons he will be here around 8pm now...

    ...oh and did I mention I only brought my tinted visor? Going to be flipping interesting trip tonight...
