A few pix from Ardmore, 2 April

    Last daylight saving evening...

It got very dark..... The KDX's light would have been of some use, wish I'd been able to ride tonight, the track looked awesome......

Bump down the flash exposure compensation a stop or so, they all seem really hot when you're flashing.

Menu, 2nd from the left, 2nd down, I use manual mode the 400d ( definitely 300d ) seem to handle flash better in manual mode vs Av/Tv, for the enduro shots I metered down about 1 stop & had no flash exposure compensation ( iso 400 ).

Fill flash should always be done with the camera using Matrix/Full Frame metering. I have mixed and various results with any other type of metering (spot/centered), this is for if you are shooting in an A/P/S priority mode.

If manual, then as takitimu says, it works as you dial in the shutter/aperture for you without any unexpected surprises.

    How about Sunday 6th pics?

Keen to see some pics from Sunday 6th April race day. My first time at Ardmore ever, novice and junior wildman. RMZ250 with homemade stickytape #46 race numbers.

    Please, thank you!
