    R1 DOWN!!!

Bloody loose gravel on entry to Shell Mana in Paramata!
Out went the front and down I went.
Bike still rideable, but doesnt look pretty!
Did a nice slide then flipped over, just to make sure both sides were broken!
    I AM SO GUTTERED!!!!!!!
    Didnt even see it coming!
    What more can I say??
Im pretty sore now though. Especially my knee.
Dont think I have any broken bones, but will see in morning.

Fuck sparky that sucks man, even worse is that really you werent doin nuffin wrong, just a freakish shit of an accident, kinda like trying to put your bike on it's race stand when you have two broken hands and no one to help you and you drop it on it's side in the garage just as well everything was already broken anyway.
Hope the R1 ain't too bad bro, and yourself inculded.

Bugger Sorry to hear that Sparky. I know it's no consolation but you are home and not in hospital. Take care and there are lots of bits around for the R1.

    Arrrghhh Martin! You poor bastard!

Question: If you were entering the gas staion, and the bike was able to flip onto its other side, how fast were you going?

Feelin pretty damn sore this morning.
My knee is the size of a water melon,
Just had a cry over my bike..
The only thing that actually broke was my right hand peg, from when it flipped over.
Left side all scratched up, right bar bent inc lever.
Tank and rear fairings didnt touch. Helmet had a pretty good knock.
Leathers... Well what can i say.. Those who question them can eat shit!
They saved my limbs for sure.

Had crash bungs on it, looks like they did their job. The left one broke off, and right one bent. But all up they saved my bike nicely.
Will get some pics up soon.
