I didn't connect with the motoard version but this thing is outstanding.
Really nice on the road and sweet as on the dirt. Mucho funo.

That is cool!!! VERY NICE!!!
Looks like they are 'keeping it simple'. Good stuff. What sort of $ is it going for?
Experience......something you get just after you needed it
I've been paying more attention to this model Beemer, than any previous.
The front forks have little adjustment, not necessarily a bad thing though.
Nice to see a normal shock at the back instead of the air dampner on the Xchallenge. The seat is lower, wider, and feels quite comfy. (sat on the one at Ham m/cycles).
Price is about $2.5k cheaper than the X, but the fuel tank is still small at about 12l I think.
Overall it looks pretty good.
I think they are going for around the $14k mark. Don't quote me on that though.
Official name is "X Country" as opposed to "X Challenge".
16K I 'think'
I again 'think' it's the original model.
Low seats are fer pussys!
I'm not doing the test - just got it for a few days. And loving it.
The big David would look good on that at the CCA me thinks.
(just trying to swing a ride here ya know)![]()
Sorry mate - I won't be at the CCA this year - but this would be the bike I'd like to do it on.
Exactly. Some of us like to encourage a bit of pussy along on our adventure rides![]()
The old F650 could be set up with a low seat, but they were quite wide & way too heavy for a lot of smaller people to handle off road.
I think I saw one advertised for 15K in the last KR.
Clint
not a bad bike at all really, not sure what these bikes are though, they seem to be little on the range side of things small tanks etc.
Im hanging out for my new BMW, arrives in November (apparently) this is the bike for my BIG TRIP.............whos coming ?
