    HELP

If anyone can come and take a look at my bike, it would be much appreciated. The engine is turning but there is no spark, checked the spark plugs and now have no idea as what to do next.

34 McDowell Cresent, Hillcrest, North Shore, if anyone could spare a few minutes.

    Give me a call on 09 419 7990 or 021 041 6839

Never, they need new seals so I dare not remove them yet for I may not be able to put them back on.

Thats probably the reason behind it not starting.
Get them cleaned out, and make sure the pilot jets etc are not blocked.
It will make a world of difference!
Probably a good idea to have a car battery hooked up while trying to start it too. That way you dont flatten your battery!

Hey Dude just looking at your post & if you haven't got any spark then it has got nothing to do with your CARB'S !! It will be to do with the Ignition system/ maybe a wire has broken or gotten pulled of if you have had the tank off or been playing round under the seat etc . Coil's don't usually give any trouble & to have all of them go at the sametime is not likely .Check you haven't blown a fuse to Hope you find the fault .

I've taken all the fairings off, can't see anything obvious. Only thing I can see is a small nick in my throttle cable which seems to be working. The bike is to be left in the garage for now minus it's fairings/tank etc, so if anyone can spare the time after hours during the week, don't hesitate to call.

You are earthing the plug properly when you are testing for spark aren't you? i.e. you have to take a plug out of the head, put the cap back on it then hold the threaded base of the plug against the cylinder head and then crank the bike over on the starter motor with the ignition key on.

Otherwise have you checked the fuse and stuff like that as suggested already.
    Cheers

I'm thinkin the same,if the plugs got drowned when you biffed it they may well be dead.Throw some newies in there and try again....

Don't right off coil's as being the fault. The little GXSR250 coils gave me no end of grief. Suzuki coil suck (so badly that the wrecker want guarantee 2nd hand ones). Had to replace both of them with ones from a CBR250RR (fitted no problems). A good Auto electrian should be able to test them for you if you take them out for them.

Umm, no. I've had Frankie doing most of the work while I hand him tools...can't say I really know what if anything to do about it.
