Guaranteed sexiness.

Scientific research has shown that 9 out of 10 motorcyclists find club volunteers to be sexier and more desireable than non club volunteers. My wife will testify that during my time as a grid volunteer, the number of RTDs required to render me attractive to her was halved to 3.

You too can reach new heights of sexiness by helping the Victoria Motorcycle Club run the Actrix Winter Series. What we need are people willing to help out with all the little jobs that help the meetings run smoothly. There is stuff like helping out with sign-on, setting the track up, flag waving, crash recovery, corner marshalling and varied forms of gophering. We have a core people with some experience who will hopefully continue to be available so I can't be sure who will get to do what. Ideally we want people who can commit to all 6 meetings but we know that this may be a big ask. We only cancel in very severe weather too so that can be challenging.

Some days can be full-on and very busy, but in a good way. Having done this for several years myself, I can say that there are a number of benefits. You get much closer to the action than spectators and get to know a lot of the racers and vic crew (this really is a good thing). The racers and supporters themselves are really good at acknowledging the volunteers too and that always leaves a warm buzz. Lunch is provided as is some petrol money to help cover costs. When necessary (Taupo and the two day meeting) we can also help out with accomodation.

its a shame you are so far away or i would be there in a heartbeat.....

those that can not race, marshal. and for racers its the best way to work out corners and see what works and what doesnt.......

hope you get enough people (or you can pay my gas money there and back

)

I can definitely help out at manfield but the taupo one might have issues. I will have to check dates and other things going on.
