The MX world championship round that i saw televised on TV1 last weekend was the shortest and most pityful attempt at televising world class motocross that i have ever seen. I was fairly gutted with the coverage to say the least.
Fortunately i got to watch Rossi clean up the circuit bikes, so it didn't totally ruin he afternoon.

HH Media report on Nikki Scott:

Nikki Scott is on her way home from France. I have been exchanging emails with her mum Colleen. "Just to confirm, Nikki did have a huge crash (actually 2) in the timed practice, but she has no broken bones although she is pretty banged up. She spent hours in hospital as a precaution because she had taken a hard knock to her head. She has a black eye from it but the good news is her head scans have come back all clear.

She is disappointed because she was feeling good after the first 2 free practices. She was 8th in the Free Practice 1 and 10th in Free Practice 2 - the second without doing a clean lap. She had the same problem as Josh Coppins with her off track excursion and getting the plastic fencing stuck in her back brakes so she only completed 3 laps. She has a sore shoulder and she is going to a specialist this week, will keep you posted with the outcome."
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.
