There is no 'fast lane' in NZ

OK now a few of you guys have mentioned the 'fast lane' well as far as I know there is no such thing in this country.
In NZ you 'can' pass on the 'inside' on the motor way...... because there is no fast/slow lane.
Now NZ must be the only country in the world that has a road rule like this, its stupid really no wounder theres so much cofusion on the roads.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont recall anything in the code about the suposed fast lane.
    cheers DD

Nah just kiddn bro, but seriously bro, why dont u give room for bikes - its not very nice of you. When im in a cage i do, sometimes to just check out the bike.
Skylines and GSR arent that big a car - ive had a ford f150 and a H2 give me room.
anyhow, treat others like you want to be treated.

As allways Jaffas think of themselves only and either you are originally from there or have been there too often. Talk to a they will advise that when travelling through and not leaving the motorway if your doing 100km/h that there is not a need to pull over for faster traffic. So either get a grip or find another road to drive on. Oh and your comment about "my thread"? Pretty pathetic

I have spoken to the "cops" and he said that you have to keep to the left (hence staying in the left lane) If your doing 110kmh and going faster than the cars in the left lane, ive got no problems with that, your using the disignated lane for its correct use... BUT if you doing the SAME speed as the people in the lane to the left of you (doing 100kmh) then i get annoyed..... Why should you be there??? you are doing the same speed as the traffic next to you, so you may as well stay in their lane... I dont see you doing 100kmh as the problem, but the fact that you give riders/drivers behind you no chance to pass you because that your doing the same speed as the lane next to you, hence holding up traffic etc....

Also you cant say that we are speeding, nearly all speedo's are inaccurate...you may think your doing 100kmh on you speedo, but that might read 95 kmh on someone elses....

Im not being selfish in saying stay in the left lane so i can pass you..... arent you being selfish for saying "im not moving for anybody behind me"

Personally i dont like showing how "fast" i can go on the road... i do it on the race track where i can show ALL of my potential (even though there is a lack of it lol)

Anyway, im sure we can all be happy families Ill go for a ride with you if you want to, or pop down to the track and say gidday I say these things, because i believe that you cant judge people of this stupid internet....

Dont judge Quasi just from what you have read, i have met him, and he is a very nice person, slightly quiet and by no means "agro" I have also met Zed who is an awesome guy when you have a yarn to him in real life, but is a dick on here (no offence Zed), also Motu, he only trolls here, but when i go to his workshop, i usually end up staying and having a good chat about bikes of all kinds for over an hour...

Anyway, ride safe and stay upright

Don't worry, I'll follow it up with a good one also. Too many people are assuming here. I drive a Toyota Surf, the other cars mentioned are previous ones. I'm buggered if I'd ride a motorcycle on the motorway because of all the wankers on it. I'd like to meet the "cop" mentioned above as there are several down here that think he/her has no clue what so ever, but thats not my problem.

several what - cops? from new plymouth? with all those motorways you have down there i guess they would know. i know plenty of naki cops, and i'd be surprised if they'd even be bothered telling you to fuck off, let alone siding with you on an argument that you have no hope in hell of winning.
