Best sounding bike out there has got to be the TL1000. Real throaty and can be heard miles away - awesome distinctive sound - gotta love it!!!

It's a machinery with an engine. It will disintergrate soner or later as anything else.
If you want a comfy quiet reliable ride, get a scooter.

    Or a Honda.
One like this would be good...
I imagine six into six sounding pretty cool. (they just look like they go into two)

Atheism and Religion are but two sides of the same coin.
One prefers to use its head, while the other relies on tales.

Laverda Jota triple with the old 180 degree two-up,one-down crank, especially at idle.

I wouldn't recomend the wasp, 'la vespa'. Its aicraft derived suspension linkage would probably not feel right for the average japenese rider.

The Ducati wireless radio produced when the vespa was launched is probably more well sounding than a dry clutch for some ears.

for a stock bike the cbx 1000 six at high revs and throttle would be hard to beat.My s2 ducati with 40mm carbs and contis was nice.

a certain double supercharged v12 aero engine manufactured in britain in the mid forties (the packards dont sound the same for some reason) sound rather nice too.

Baiting? I only said Duc riders would all bite, it wasn't the point of my post.

Not jealous mate, I raced a Ducati, or tried to rather. Wasn't for me or my way of riding. Got booted off the team for crashing it too much.

Never said it was the bike. It and I just didn't get along.

Cant blame a machine for that, and never have.

Best sounding bike I've heard recently is an '09 R1 with aftermarket cans. I might have to buy one, just for that rumble.
