It sounds to me that you want to look very well after your motorbike.....Don't get to concerned now and enjoy your riding, common sense will go a long way.
Your bike's engine internals will most likely outlive you anyway (if you don't crash it...)
Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

yea I do, cant afford to fix it so I want to make sure it does last. I've herd these bikes are pretty tough, so should be sweet.

    thanks.

I don't think this is done in NZ anymore.
It's all burnt at high temp i.e cement kiln.

I think there's a place at Waharoa that does it, or whatever that place is just before Matamata. Possibly Dominion Oil?? or are they out of business??

Ah I'm disappointed that no one has said they exclusively use peanut oil and only need to change it at 50,000 k intervals.

This is the tamest 'what oil?" thread I have ever read - well done.

Me I exclusively buy 'motorcycle' oils.

    O.K Noel, big question here.

If a guy is drowning at sea, do you throw him a sandal or some oil?
