Pretty damn close. If you took the radiators off it it would even look similar.
Arse is the same, frame, wheels etc.

I went in to WMCC to check the new release out this week ,but you had scappered off with their only one as soon as the crate was opened!

The 1125r has some great features that should translate into sales, if people don't get all tissy over the looks.
    It has some of the features that made my BMW F800S easy to live with. But that bike didn't get the sales results it deserved either;
-fuel cell instead of tank. And a practical volume 21 litres (I think?)
    -belt instead of chain
-Rotax twin (time will tell if this is as good as the F800 motor)
    -promising power to weight ratio
-has shocked the opposition in two European races so far
    -all this for under $20,000

Hope you are over the hill this arvo Jason so I can see this beast in the metal.
Enjoy your new toy and post up a review soon.

edit- crap. Rain shower just passed over. I thought it was supposed to clear! Maybe no ride this arvo

I think it looks pretty good anyway. In person is a lot better than the pics.

See it with a rider on it and it all fits nicely.

I like the fairing a lot.

The radiators are on the side so as not to effect the wheelbase and are wind tunnel optimised.

Ride one and you'll soon get over them.

Good point! You can't see it when you're riding it.

Bloody nice it looks too Pete !
If i wasn't for the fact we want a t bird (or sim) for HRH, I'd be keen on having a look at trading one of the triples on it (Well the 955 anyway lol)!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Be nothin in it for ya in a trade on the 955 but we will come back with some gear and the 955 to talk options/test ride etc !
Haha or should i ? Could see me riding out of there on something totally impractical for her mmm like a night train or that Buell for instance !
Hehe She's still on her R for at least 3 more months yet, plenty of time for her to get over it, if i did !
