Do I have to have an opinion either way?
Their trips are interesting and entertaining, and that's enough for me.

Nice lifestyle, being supported to ride motorcycles...

But Mr "In Touch with his Feminine Side" Boorman manages to annoy me with his constant whining. The bloke needs to HTFU

And the foul language on the DVD soundtracks was a big disincentive to showing it to my motorcycle keen son (age 8)

I enjoy their stuff, but on their second trip they seemed to have forgotten everything they learned on the first. .

Haven't read or watched the tale of their journey, but compared to Glen Hegstad, they seem like wieners. He basically did the same journey (plus a lot extra!) without all the backup they had.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I liked how they managed to bring biking to the masses, people who wouldn't normally be interested in bikes and associated issues actually took the time to view it!

    All good!

Even though most of us were pissing ourselves laughing over some of the stuff and antics they got up to!
    for me!

It's a completely different thing that Glen Hegstad was doing, he was just riding.
Him and the bike. Very pure.

McGregor and Boorman were making a TV show so, they needed a camera crew, sound crew, a truck, masses of recording gear and the associated support equipment.

People criticise them for having heaps of backup, but you just can't make an international-quality TV programme without it.

I loved the first series. It was fantastic and entertaining.

Second one was very up in the air with lots of moaning about all sorts of things. There wasnt as much of a view from them how they thought about the cultures that were around them at the time like there was in the first.
And Ewens wife should have stayed at home.
