Since we get so much out of KB, I am always passing on the word.

just thinking about all of the great people we have met, have ridden with and have been able to open our home to ... all because of KB. I can't imagine how boring owning a bike would have been without it.

Last Sunday at Rimutex there were a couple of guys who live just around the corner asking us how we organised our rides. So now they know about KB I believe they're joining up because they want to go on rides in a group and meet other bikers.

There are a lot of bikers out there who know of kiwibiker and think a whole lot less of us bikers that arrange our rides and stuff online.

I tend not to mention it too much - did at first but then got blanked by a few riders because of it.

I still think it's a good idea - especially in Auckland and Wellington coz they're quite lonely cities and it's a good place to find bikers that are local to you.

Each to thier own but I agree with you that big cities can be lonely espcailly when you have no friends or family there. I think that KB is a great way to meet other bikers and find rides. What you do after that is your choice.
