Why KBers are so great - WARNING slightly mushy

Just wanted to let everyone know how grateful I am to all the KBers who have been concerned about me after I got hit on the head on Monday at work, resulting in head and neck injuries. From comments in the thread, private messages, and chatting on MSN, these people (many of whom have never met me), have made a valuable contribution to my state of mind. There are 3 KBers I would like to say a special thank you to:
Firefight for coming round to check up on me and for offers of assistance.
Backfire for taking my car for its WOF and bringing round milk etc.
AJTurbo who was so concerned after I went offline suddenly after complaining of feeling very unwell, (and ending up in hospital again), that he bundled his son and dogs into his van, and drove from Tauranga to Auckland to look after me. They spent 3 days with me, sleeping on my couches, cooked and cleaned, generally kept me entertained, and asked for nothing in return. And to top it all off he took me to the Ducati shop to give me the incentive to hurry up and get better!!!
It amazes me to realise what deep bonds we get through this site just because of our love of motorbikes. Just goes to show that bikers are the most amazing people and I am very touched by the level of concern shown not just to me, but to everyone else on this site. Thanks everyone. You all rock!

Monster 620 - I think it will be good step up from 250. Was thinking about 800, but I don't like the new colour schemes for them, and they're $3000 more. Better to use the money I save on accessories!!!!

mmmm nice choice, it has to be matt grey, or bright red, yellow for a third choice.... and that 3 grand can go towards a exhaust system ive heard from loosebruce that it is illegal to have a v-twin and no aftermarket pipes....

HI Riff didnt hear about your accident, sorry, I really hope your recovery is coming on strong.

Look forward to hearing you on form soon and maybe seeing you on a ride, dont think weve met.

Have to agree, the KB is a real brother hood/ sisterhood when you throw good ole blokes like Firefight, AJ turbo,Backfire into the fold it really is a bloody fantastic thing to be involved with.

Love it, its alot morethan just bikes !!!!

Red is the only way to go. And exhaust system is compulsory. I'll probably turn into Lynda Blair's apprentice!!!!!

Yes it's a great place alright with some fantastic & genuine people on it. It's a pity you discovered that through having injured yourself though! Hope you get better soon.
