Ridden a few cruisers myself, not so bad, scooters, fun for schoolboys i guess, but sportsbikes are the go for me at the moment.

If you can afford and its what you want, Then hell yes, Buy it.

Much better off spending money on a bike you intend to keep long term. Just remember there is heaps more power available once you free up the air-in and air-out, drop in a $90 ignition and a $110 Andrews cam.

If it were me I'd buy a model with twin discs, Being able to stop a large heavy motorcycle is a bit of a bonus......

actually speaking "harley not waving", i went on a ride today, id say 90% of sports rider didnt even look up to wave, its like their helmets are fixed onto their tank and they are trying to get to where ever they are going as fast as possible

Which sportsbikes are usually designed to do... Concentrating on riding 120% and many riders dont usually get a response, i'll wave at anything on two wheels though. I dont want to hi-jack the thread or make a fuss, leave you all to it here

Weird the only reviews I've found are 06 when it was first released. The 08 engines are quite different now - 6 speed etc. Only better I guess. Most magazines tend to dump them with the Dyna range as they are based on that with cosmetic/styling differences.

I've done a 500km round trip with only the slightest bit of fatigue, but I reckon that was because I wasn't used to it.
    It's fine now.
The raised handlebars actually make it easy to lean.

Dunno if I'll be treading loose a rock slide of an argument, but I recently saw both models of the Rocker and I was a bit disappointed. They looked better on the photographs but in nature ... I'm not sure. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder of course. And I guess you can do one up really nicely. Maybe the candy colors those two bikes I saw came in didn't help either.

As for the Streetbob - I really like it and Dynas are a blast to ride. I have to say tho, that you might want to take a look at the Fatbob too, if you haven't yet already.

The great thing is that there are choices and enough that we can all get roughly what we want, if not we can alter.

It depends what YOUR looking for and what calls out to you when you go in. The street bob is a great looking bike and I must admit I was leaning towards a dyna at first, I liked the custom and the fatbob is beautiful in person. I ended up with ma wee chubby because it gave me what I wanted in my bike. More than i wanted to spend but I am not looking to trade up for a long time yet (there is a hint there to go for what you want). Go with your gut, look and you'll know/feel whats right, they do call out to you. As long as YOU enjoy.

In terms of the rocker and firecrabs comment, I totally agree, for some reason i expected a little more and they looked better in the pictures.

Can you let us know what you get so we can oooh and ahhh over it?
