Namaste! & Salaam-al-e-kum to Kiwi Biker (tushalb)

Hi ppl from the Kiwi biking fraternity,
I've been biking for 7 years in India and lived most of my life in Bahrain. Always had a passion for the Kawa-Yama-Zuki's and finally laid my hands on a Blue Hornet 250 first big bike outside India, here in Auckland. Enjoy photography and road trips provided they are properly planned and look forward to meeting up with the various groups out there. I stay in New Lynn and currently commute to work at Smales Farm, North Shore, chose a 2-wheeler to save time and fuel expenses as i recently moved to NZ. Currently employed at Air New Zealand and loving every bit of the "Kiwi's can fly" attitude! You guys are awesome. I've been part of a large biking community before in India and regularly did trips across cities. Enjoyed those on a 180cc single cylinder Bajaj Pulsar (www.bajajpulsar.org). But life is good here, enjoying the summers and the experience of lethal power from the inline-4. its a 1999 model 40bhp?
I'm also on the look out for a good place to service the bike. I can take care of oil change and other stuff, quite a DIY guy but would like some guidance. anyone out there have a Hornet Owners manual? Would appreciate any help i get from yáll.

    Cheers!
    Tushal

    welcome to the site.
I still have yet to ride a bike in India, I need more courage I think and one of those Royal Enfields.

The pix below is of a group of guys waiting for their bikes to cool down while riding up the mountain to Kurseong from Siliguri.

Greetings. It is good to see KB attracting all manner and conditions of men

From what part of India cometh thou ?

(Totally irrelevant side note, I went to school with Ian Smale, the hassles they had with that property nearly destroyed the family)
