    Tauranga - Rotorua

For anyone interested, the Pyes Pa road is now open.
ACC - It's where the Enron accountants all went.

Just been in Rottenrua for 3 days - went via Pyes Pa.
First, the roadworks are not finished. Loose gravel on top of tar on the corners in the gorge.
Second, they have only taken out the second hairpin.
Third, the blind entry one-lane bridges are still there.
Fourth, there's so much traffic on it now it must be the slowest route TGA - ROT that you could find (Only the way to go as long as you only drive / ride at 60 to 70K.)
ACC - It's where the Enron accountants all went.
