More to the point - should you get it back?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I got careless driving a couple of years ago now... $300 fine... smack on the bottom and on my way.

I'd had dangerous driving about 3 years previous but they didn't take that into account because of how long ago it had been.

    What were you doing?

P.S. It's lose... not a loose pair of pants.

Would depend on the nature of the offence and the time between offences.

Either way, not your best work.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    From Ltsa Site
"Careless or inconsiderate driving [sect 37] A fine not exceeding $3,000 and discretionary disqualification"

Previous will be taken into consideration, depending on the time frame...

Chances are good that the license will be bye bye's for a period of time.

2nd *care-less* offense eeek - sorry for you but I agree wholeheartedly with MR Mstrs.

I'd start sizing up the public transport system now if I was you.

Oh and good luck getting insurance in later life for that flash car you were hoping to get from the earnings your university education is setting you up for Know quite a few grown-ups that either can't get insurance now or who just won't pay for insurance because due to their bad old days they aren't seen as a good risk.

"careless use" is quite small I think. If it were "dangerous driving" then I would say you are toast. Opening a car door into traffic is careless use..

I would say you will get a big fine, and if you do loose you license, it will only be a small amount of time.

Of course, I have no idea at all..

If I read this right and your charge is for bailing.....well I think thats a bit rough, the damage to the bike and the fright should be punishment enough! Why do we feel it necessary to punish people for everything? Ok if you were playing silly buggers fair enough but legitimate accident.......where you were the only one invovled.......well not really necessary lesson learnt I feel, I don't think a court date is necessary or even a ticket....
