Hey all, finally the time has come to take the full test! Bike all fixed, leg all healed up after my lowside 6 weeks ago.
Just wondering what the average time the full test takes?

its only about 30 mins. Nice and easy.
Best of luck - and I look forward to reading your "weeeee - I got my full" post.

Allow an hour all up... to include the prelim and after stuff, but only 20 - 30 for the test itself. If ya lose the tester it's even quicker!
Congrats on the milestone. Good to hear your healing. I read this post with interest as I'm about to take the plunge too. Go the 6F!

Did mine a couple of weeks ago and really only took 30min. They say to allow an hour - there is a bit of down time, eg the check over at the begining and then the licence writing at the end.
I ended up having a big natter with the tester at the end so the hour time frame was more realistic.
You will do great - just remember to look up when doing the u turn!
Basically what everyone esle has said - allow an hour, but it only takes about half that on the road. Whatever you do, don't turn up late. When my husband went to make his booking to do his R the tester called for the person who was scheduled to do their test (don't know whether bike or car); they weren't there and turned up less than 10 minutes late. Too late! - tester wouldn't take them. Thought it was a bit rough but it's there on the form you fill in that if you're more than 5 minutes late you miss out and your fee is not refunded. I was pretty nervous about doing mine (about 5 months ago) but in the end it was a piece of cake. Good luck!
