    18 years old a kid?

Didn't know about the family pass for this event, thanks for that! Its not on the silver bullet site or your site where the prices are?
The family rate at the sandpit is good, actually means we go out there more and you get more money spent by us over the season. Especially now the tracks and set up are great!!!

1/2 the family away this weekend so it all works out, I hope.
18 year old kid?? I know, he's not a kid, good lad, but just started Varsity, doesn't waist the money he earns at his part time job, so I still pay for him on MX rides. Father son time, MX or karting one of the few sports they still putin front of their other activities at that age. All good though, have to share a bike this weekend, only got the KTM and the KX85 at the moment.
All good l might see you guys out there!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Just got in from another day of putting up the freakin arrows. This is our first trail ride and for those that don't know the amount of effort that goes into organising a ride, well its mind boggoling(freakin good Inglish).I now know what other organisations have to go thru.

    Here's a starter.
There is one local lady whom has no idea what we are doing and just see's riders as hoons. She has had the following groups on our case in the last 3 weeks trying to shut this ride down.
    - Rodney Council, with the mayor Penny Webster involved
    - Deer hunters Assn
    - Heritage Sociaty, cultural sites
    - ARC, this bitch actually had 4 members come out to her Wilson rd house for a meeting to discuss this horrendous occasion. (Wish somebody would fix the drain out side my house.)
    - Police, somebody put a dead rat in her letterbox, hello, she ain't even got a fuckin letterbox!! ( I want to put my calling card in it tho).
    - labour dept, today of all fuckin days, do we have paid staff, are were providing food and do we have food permits, are we charging for spectators etc etc etc... They got the get a fuckin life back!!
    - This is even better. On my way back at 6.30 tonite they had people putting up a vehicle counter at the beginning of Wilson rd to count cars over the long week end. What are the chances of that staying there past tomorrow do you reckon?

Our farm and forestry owners deserve a big pat on the back for supporting us as they have been 100% behind this ride.

Anyway, I prolly know most of you but please come and intro yourselves.
raining or not it will be a good day.

I'm off to Poach me some meat... see you there.

Yeah we have gone out of our way. To the extent that we borrowed GO SLOW signs to put up Wilson Rd to help.
I even phoned her politely and Non Agressively. She was asking Q like " What is the amount of fuel that will be on site and do you have resource consent for everyone to have this amount". Fuckin over her.

Yep, she's gona have a few deposits on the front gate in the next couple of weeks. Jeez, I feel like a good strong curry now.....

Whats her lawn like? Why don't you sneek up there one night and chuck a load of grass seed around. She'll have a nice lawn that grows like fuck and needs mowing all the time. Nice subtle way of pissing her off and seems like she has to much time on her hands anyway.

Did this to a prick that pissed me off, he was out there mowing his lawn all the time in the summer! I even used to honk the horn and wave at him as I passed.

Thats Helens PC, resource consent orientated, greeny system.
1 silly bitch can waste all those man hours ( I counted 6 organisations she got involved) and no one has the guts to tell her to "get a life" for just, 1 day, 1 day, outa her miserable anti everything existence!!! So we can take our kids out and have some family time!!!

Talk about the tail wagging the dog???

    Wow, nice work sandpit crew.

Sounds like one person can unfortunately make a pain in ass of herself. I've been looking forward to this ride for a while now, but waiting on my knee to sort itself out.

    Good luck everyone!

    Rat in letterbox?! Nice!

I lived in Ireland for a couple of years and you can't do anything there without insurance, It took me 6 months to get insurance on a 30 year old Kombi...1000 euros!!! The Cork skating rink had to close because the insurance costs made it uneconomic to run.
You had to pay an insurance fee for school trips, no insurance for modified vehicles, compulsory insurance ...etc.
I'm amazed she got so much attention, must be the 'squeaky wheel gets looked at" story.
I do like the idea mentioned of a bunch of flowers.
Do any of the proceeds go to a school or a charity of some sort? might sort of make her look a bit petty.
Thanks for doing the run, they are great to take the kids to.

Came very close a month back when recing the trails for the Jolly Poacher with KTMboy. We sat on the road for about 10mins and watched about 50 deer further up the road crossing over and heading towards the fire trail we were going down next.
Down the fast fire trail, KTMboy reckons he was doing about 114km next to another rider. I was hanging back avoiding his dust and was probably doing about 80-90km. Next thing two deer leap out in front of me and at the last second decided to leap back the way they came, luckilly because otherwise I would have T boned them. Missed by about a half metre. Slowed down after that. There are heaps and heaps of deer on the Jolly Poacher circuit and I would be careful on the fast sections.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!
