    If your cooking Dear!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

    Warning: Bridge troll ahead

Yeah, the deer are hard case the way they jump out at the last minute. I get a real kick out of seeing them.

RE: motorsickle haters. They are out there alright. I got instantly hot under the collar reading posts. What a nasty bridge troll! We have to keep cool and avoid giving this sad creature ammo to fire back at us. She's obviously motivated. I quite like Cheese's attitude. Be nice, it takes wind out of their sails and makes it very likely she'll (eventually) be ignored - the very thing that would piss her off more than anything! Lets just have another top day in our pretty good country, the last thing we want is more people like her on our case. And the walls have ears, and eyes...Keep cool men. TV would love a follow up story (beach incident) on terrible motorcyclists (BTW, anyone got any spare rats?)

Cheers for all the work KTM boy. And nice effort in placating the witch. I'll be there.

Did this to a prick that pissed me off, he was out there mowing his lawn all the time in the summer! I even used to honk the horn and wave at him as I passed.

    Right,

    KTMBOY
    you deserve a beer!

that was.... by far..... the best ride i have ever done!
thank you for putting that on, that was the shit.

shits on desert storm by a mile, meaning all the years of desert storm.

we rode solid for 5 hours. i am completely buggered.

also. thankyou for not removing all the logs! finally a trail ride that has some bits to make you think. the red arrows on your nothern loop were amazing. our whole group is completely stoked! (a couple more hills next time maybe????)

PLEASE put some more rides on there. we would come at least once a month if we could get access to those northern trails.

also, whoever owns that farm. it would be a choice place to hold a series of scrambles. ( i am very jealous of your location and mini MX track. ) would really like to ride there as well)

i would have come and told you myself, and bought you a beer if i knew who you were in the crowd.

    Thumbs up Wicked!

Wow that was a cool ride! We arrived at 8, were within the first 5 cars to get there (red ford courier, yz250f and kxf250) and within 10 minutes were off riding!
Had a dude give us a quick escort of the red loop (which was a mad trail) then we were free to get as lost as we wanted :
    Woo! Cheers!

    Thumbs up Feeling well poached...

What a huge day. Rode til body contorted with cramp and had to shortcut/limp home. Spoilt for amount of ground to cover. We kept turning off just before the big hillclimb but found it last loop. Unfortunately crew was too knackered to give it all a proper go. First time in a years riding struck something I couldn't get up. I like it!

Could get up left parts of face easy enough but kept running out of momentum 3/4 way up the middle parts. Poor KLX. Didn't even attempt right hand side. Really enjoyed the nice jumpy bits in one particular section and and Jimmy is right - good plan to leave a few logs in. Good to ride on some terrain that had plenty of shape to it.

A Huge Thanks to the Sandpit Boys. You could see that a hell of a lot of work had gone into the tracks. Outstanding effort. Any chance of riding there again? Hope there was no flak from Govt departments of freedom crushing. Any update on the anti motorcycle activist and her rat collection?

Thanks for the input all. It was a bloody good day and luckily we had lots of volunteer help. This wouldn't have been possible without them, Leightons farm and Forestry Management. Big ups

    But wait for next year.

We are going to push for a two day ride. The concept would be something like...

Day one (Saturday) - Farm loop and 2/3rds of the last Sundays ride with a focus more on the family rider.

Day two - Being a Sunday this would focus on the far Northern area(we didn't go there this time). We have scouted out some pearler tracks that haven't been touched for 5 years or more with alot more variation in terrain(hills and gullies).
In discussion with a local land owner that would possibly allow us parking and camping on the saturday night after the Southern ride. He has a big old barn that we may be able to use as a base with line dancing for Chop, Cheeze and Danger. (Fess up you guys)

Thoughts are that it could get very messy the night before, YES.

Well, we are going to plan for this now so standby.

Woo hoo that sounds like a wicked idea. Need some mega security for bikes though.

How did things pan out with that old biarch that was trying to shut things down?

Surprise surprise she is only about 30 yrs old. She was outside the gate taking pics but scrapered when the land owners saw her.
She lives about 3km down the road and vehicles don't even go past her house.

    Moving forward now.
