    Sweeet. Got a bike

Thanks to peoples recommendations here I got myself a kdx200.. . This thing kicks ass! Its my first bike and I can't wait to hit the trails (after some practice ).

Just had a ride on it and noticed the clutch isn't fully unengaged when in gear, is that normal?

Anyway be good to meet some of ya on the trails

    Hope its just adjustment,
When rings go on those two strokes it seems like its all power and no go . . . like a clutch slipping!

Nah its not new.. 2000, yeah can try adjusting, I found the service manual.. it says it should have 10-20mm of play, I think it has more than that. Its kinda hard to keep it from stalling atm, altho I found the idle adjust now (was turning the choke top screw in vain )

hope its not the rings, go hard on the 300 dunno what the diff is between the models tho, give me some time

If its stalling, then its gotta be adjustment. It means the clutch wont dis-engage for you.

KDX is two stroke enduro type race bike.
KLX is four stroke, can be put on road, trail bike. softer in the suspension and not so Zippy. LESS maintenance (go forever lol)
KX is really zippy with BIG power band kick. race bred two stroke.

A mate recently got a KLX300, he loves it!

He also commented on the excellent value for money.
