    BuckbuckNo1 and two years riding

A walk down memory lane, with 43000km in two years, and I haven’t been any further north than Fielding, nor any further south than Island Bay………..

The course here in Petone today was very good and a big thank you to AT, well conducted and professional.

Why did I take so long, well being an Aussie [all flack well received in the best of taste] I never rode a bike in my life and at 53yrs now you could understand why I took my time - had to come across the ditch for starters for some excellent bike riding country.

My longterm goal is to have completely toured the South Island by the time I am 60yrs old, see I keep my head up and look way ahead. Seriously will start out on a GN250 and probably remain in the Valley here for quite a few months before venturing further a field.

Big thanks to SteveDee for his encouragement it will certainly be quite a while before I even get on a Z750.

Enjoy the posts on this forum and 'catch ya later'.
I recently read back through the sub-forum thread BuckBuckNo1 Update - Newbie Training: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=30010
and I must confess it is still very refreshing to read the feedback comments from those early days. I look forward to my riding through winter and re-visiting many of those topics I covered two years ago.

    Heads Up and Enjoy

Wow have ya been a two wheel brethren that long? I remember your first posts with your GN. Congrats another milestone. Enjoying your posts, your contemplative break down on technique and your company on rides.
