If it ever detects that you're on a racetrack, it tells your dealer and voids your warranty.
Hmmm, I very much doubt that. Would it also void the warranty if you ever exceeded the speed limit then? You can push an engine just as hard on the public road as you can on a racetrack - only difference is that you run an additional risk of getting a ticket.

Yeah, there are some legal technicalities there as well... More likely to be an anti-theft device for tracking stolen vehicles.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

The Company parallel imported two of these GT-R's. Sold one to a tatooist(yeah, we're in the wrong trades!) and he took it out, brought it back the next day and its in "limp home" mode, with fuckall power on tap.
Problem is, the Nissan franchise dealer (not us) wont touch it (yes they have the necessary scan tool) as it didnt come in thru Nissan NZ and theres no factory warranty on it. A real headache for the boss.....
The customer is pissed off to the MAX!!
A real pickle ya might call it

Has your company ever considered getting that scanning tool?
