With only 4 people on the first night covering the topics was easy, certainly not to a professional level but enough to give starting points and the knowledge to ask the important questions when and if needed. Especially when of the 4, 2 where familiar with the tasks, so really we were only teaching 2.
But I do appreciate where you are coming from had we had a larger group well we might have been able to cover just chain tension and not a lot else.
I realise after a re look we did not cover off number 7) Basic service: oil(checking, changing), oil filter(changing), air filter(checking, cleaning etc)
but we will see if we cant get to that this week or per haps next.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
Are there going to be more of these? Looks like a may have missed a few.
I'd be totally keen as I'm pretty green about this stuff only have doing basic things myself.
I'll pick up the pads from Budget tomorrow after work. So should be all good.
Mine's in need of a change, so I'll volunteer it. Only thing is that it may or may not be ideal as an example bike as it's fully faired. Advantage: people with faired bikes get to see how they go on and off, and where things are located behind the fairings. Disadvantage: takes longer, more farting around. But I'm happy to supply my own oil and filter and leave it to the teachers to show how it's done step by step![]()

I have a s****Y cold, don't want to inflict this on anyone and can hardly breathe at the moment (yuck!). Eating lots of garlic to combat it.
So will give tomorrow a miss, but looking forward to the rest of them. Good luck with the chain replacing, will be a good one, bummer to miss out!

Still inventing myself ...
Code:...completely, unshakably content.
I'm cheap so I didn't buy fully synthetic stuff (its about $100), but I put semi synthetic 10W40 in it. I got it from SuperCheap. Make sure you get the Motorcycle specific stuff (it says on the bottle). I think what I got was about $50 for 4 litres.
Cool, I'll have a look in there after work tomorrow. Or maybe at lunchtime might be a better bet, so I don't have to battle traffic at the end of the day... either way I'll try to make sure I've got new oil and a filter for tomorrow night. Will it be at the same place as it was a couple of weeks ago, where we had the first one? Ta.
