Just went through, from the looks of it there was a crash, not sure of what happened as was waved through, hope nothing major.
Saw a couple ambulances at pauhatanui village on my way up then in the last few bends on the pauhatanui side before the top there was a fire engine and other emergency services etc, a couple bikes had been loaded into a truck and 1/2 a dozen bikers on the standing on side of the road.
If your riding through take it easy and ride safe.
