Yeah paint names are a lil crazy these days............"fu fu orange"...."ducks breath yellow" lol. But yeah seriously now it is Cobalt Blue. Has bucket loads of oyster & pearl in it to give it that deep shiny look. Suzi may have some other funky name for it
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Looks good, it was always my intention to put the hugger on my SV but didnt get the chance. Even if I am not a fan of the baby blue colour (go the K6 Dark Blue) , the matching hugger and under tray really make a difference.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

It looks very nice, and that's a lovely blue!

Yeah, my bike's the same - it's "Candy Tahitian Blue" or somesuch, and is very difficult to get right. I went to Smits a few months back to get some paint, ad two of the guys both had a go at mixing a pot of paint for me, but gave up. They were both pretty close, but like your bike, the original paint job was several coats, and in sunlight a one-pot paint can't match it perfectly. Originally, there's a black undercoat, a basecoat with silver and blue, then another coat with blue and purple, then clear top coats.
As it is, the bike's had some repair work done on it, and the various fairing parts are different shades of the same colour, as whoever resprayed it didn't do it properly, and some of the fairing pieces are black ABS whereas others are white.

One day, I'll have to have the whole bike resprayed, as every panel has scratches and chips.

Anyway - your SV looks very nice - well done!
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

What do you mean, are they for sale or do you need them sprayed for your bike. Have you had your bike resprayed. I wouldn't mind a rear seat cover actually.

They're for sale (well, should be, I'm lazy...), along with a set of rear fairings and a taillight. My bike doesn't have much use for them these days.

damn.....nice Sv-1000. Its a seriously underated bike here in the states. I think my brain would shut down trying to decide between that and an Fz-1.

Good work on the hugger. It does kinda complete the bike.

Was $126 landed. As i said it was a second hand hugger. A new hugger from the guy would have been $165 landed.
