Learners test - Specialist questions??

Hey peeps, I've already got my learners/restricted in cars a couple years ago and I'm gona go sit my learners again for me motorbike license. I used LTNZ online for the road code so i could learn all teh answers. But I couldnt find a section for the motorcycle road code. Can anyone give me the D-low on the test? Is it lyk 10 normal questions with 15 specialist motorcycle type questions or what? And where online can i learn the answers to these? Or will i have to haul my ass to some library to get the motorcycle road code? Cheers.

I think there's only 5 specialist questions.

I don't know what the test looks like (did mine in 8192) but if you want to look at the road code it's on the LTSA web site http://www.ltsa.govt.nz/roadcode

I did mine at the local AA and they didn't even ask the oral questions. I expect they will be pretty easy if you've read the road code though.

There was a post ages back on KB to a motorcycle training school that had an online motorcycle test that'd probably be useful if you could find it.

There are 75 specialist questions for motorcyclists, of which any 10 make up the scratchy test. There are 25 general questions on the scratchy test. To pass the test you need to get 32 out of the 35 questions correct.

To get the road code online, you may need to search specifically for 'The official New Zealand Road Code for Motorcyclists' at www.landtransport.govt.nz/ or call them on 0800 699 000.

All of this straight out of the printed road code I purchased from the local bookshop.

The Motorcycle roadcode ISNT available online thru LTNZ.

It is only $24.90 to buy. It is worthwhile studying up. So of the questions throw abit of a curve ball..........well they did for me, as I have had my car licence for nearly 20 years

wat the woman told me is in the pictures on the scratchie test there are tricks
look at the traffic lights on the pictures .if u look at them u can solve them easliy

Yeah, make sure you study up on the specialist questions. They have ones like "can a motorcycle tow a trailer"... and the answer is, "yes, if it's a trailer specifically made to be towed by motorcycles". Catches some people out.
