I Agree, My partner had one for her first bike, Same year in black, What a fantastic little machine, very forgiving and easy to ride, looks great to like a little Monster. Go for it.

I'd highly recommend it...awesome first bike. Mine's a 97 and I've had her for over a year now, and have had no technical issues whatsoever.

Nice little V twin, nowhere near as high strung as the other "sporty" 250s...very comfortable if long rides are required. Will start anytime, even if left not running for a month or so.

They are very forgiving of little learners mistakes like forgetting which gear one is in

Oh, and they are very economical...I'll get over 240kms on a tank of gas, going at a regular 100kms/hr, and that's without touching the reserve.

I'll be really torn when it comes to parting with her
