Stoppies On A GSXR600K3??

Does anyone on here do stoppies on a GSXR600? If so is the bike standard, any tips?

Wheelies. My GSXR600K3 first gear 60kmh crank the throttle, get the wheel up and feather the throttle to a balance and keep reving it till the limiter, around 120k's. Keep the foot near the back brake pedal just incase. Does not have the power to lift the wheel in second without the clutch and have not managed to change gears while up, although have done on previous bikes.

MR does mean stoppies on his GSX-R600, you have to pull the brake on quite hard and quickly, but not so jerky (that locks the front wheel).... To get the back wheel off the ground, bump on the seat, or shift your weight forward (arse off the seat a bit leaning over the tank)... Once it is up, change the amount of brake pressure to lower it or raise it....

Should be fairly easy on your bike with no mods start off doing small ones at 60-70kmh then start getting higher in the speeds.....

Wheelie, second gear, get it up to 10000rpm, roll off the gas then snap it on... May need a little tug, and up she should come

done a fow stoppies. the standard front end on them is pretty soft so gettin the back wheel off the ground is easy. ive done a few but after about 2 feet off the ground i chicken out and let the brakes go. mine lifts the front a bit out of the kink at taupo track, thats in second.

A standard K3 would be very capable of them. Just practice, practice and practice.

I don't wheelies and I can't wheelie for shit. However, as far as getting it up goes, I can bring it up everytime, real nicely (Although it is a bit faster than using the clutching up method) in second without clutch.

Rev to 10k, snap the throtle shut, follwed by wacking it wide open as you tug on the bars like TS said.

Regarding stoppies, make damn sure you got a shit hot front tyre on, and that it has warmed up nicely, otherwise a nasty front wheel lock up with the back wheel 4 feet in the air will happen, not a nice feeling at all. Call me daft but i've been doing stoppies for years on mtb bikes and reckon there's no real differnce to doing them on a motorbike.
Squeeze the lever let the forks compress and the trye flatten out more to give more contact patch the squeeze harder and shift ya weight forward, easy (sort of). But yeah start slow, get ya tyres warm and dont slam on the brakes either.

Yeah my cuz has a 600 k3 the suzuki brakes are for lack of an intellegent thing to say CRAP, but it can be done. On his bike (B4 he got braided lines etc) roll up2 lights etc at around 80-90kph hurl yourself fwd and grab a bunch of front brake, at first you will sht yaself and let the brake off but once you get past that it easy then you want to get them to roll this is kinda the same as wheelies you just need to find somewhere close to balence point with stoppies you never will find the perfect balance (well i hvnt any way). a few things to consider are tyres(hot and sticky help), tyre presure(when you get real good drop the frnt dwn to about 18psi makes a massive improvment to the quality of stoppy all the people you are doing them for will think you have been a stunta for years. by the way i take no responsibility if ya endo, have fun. oh second gear wheelies peice of pie to do heaps of gas lean back drop da clutch hey presto your on the back wheel, i think i got his up in 2nd without the clutch but much less hastle with it.
