Went out and bought my 750 shortly after having gotten my restricted.

Mind you, I won't ride it on the road until I get my full - I bought it for the track anyway

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Sanding down glassfiber fairings is boring though... But I have to do that before taking it back to the track.

Ripped off the L plate on the roadside, rode straight from my full licence test to the motorcycle store and started shopping! Bought a Honda VTR1000F Firestorm.

Where's the option "As soon as I have enough money"?

Oi, sunshine! What about us old bastards that never had to go through with all this learners crap? Well, I was lucky and got in just in time, have had 3 different forms of licience, each time getting told it was a lifetime licience and each time it costs more. Now I have to renew my licience every 10 year I think they say. Thieving scum!

The first day i rode an old CB175? or 75, either way I was hooked, got my learners as soon as i was 15 and a GPX250.
After that licencing and licences seemed unimportant, never owned a 250 since, had many bikes, many accidents and way way too much fun... the money just seems better spent on the bike, gear, family, and pretty much everything else in life than wasting it on retarded government taxes and laws.

Its like waiting for a light bulb to change colour in the middle of a completely empty road....

I know a few other riders the same, then there are the ones that have the learners/restricted but still the big bike, some are even kbers themself.
