    KLR650 improved

Hey all, this is my first post so I thought I'd let all know how to improve a big, bore-ing single.
I bought a KLR back in Jan 07 for couriering. It was an 04 with 31klms, a guy bought it new to go around OZ with a mate, his mate got sick so it only went from the shop to shed and back to shop! They gave me 3 yrs unlimited warranty so SOLD.
So, long story short, after 10 months, 30k ks and a new daughter, I retired to become a full time Dad, I now needed a plaything for testosterone injection at the weekends.
I googled and found the bits needed.
320mm front disc(I ahd already fitted a braided brake line) progressive springs, Two Bros slip on pipe,k&n and jet kit.
I chopped out the top of the airbox, and removed the snorkel.
    Fitted all the other bits.
I just went for a fang, 150ks, it was a new bike. The brake is awesome.
Power range the excellent, only problem now I need a new clutch. The extra oomph highlighted the damage done from working a hot summer.
    I've just ordered a Barnett.
Oh yeh, really LOUD too, but I can fix that come warrant time.
Now, I've turned a boring sad learner legal into a bit of fun.

I only use it on the road(soemtimes the pavement), too heavy for anything else. I run Avon road riders. they hang on well enough.
